115 Years Ago - On this day in 1904, famous band leader Glen Miller was born in Iowa. His music inspired the World War II generation.  He enlisted in the US Army, in 1942, and was the leader of the US Army Band.  His music boosted the morale of the troops with his famous tunes such as Moonlight Serenade, and In The Mood.  His plane mysteriously disappeared between England and France, and neither he or the plane was ever found.  He died on December 15, 1944.
